Digital Projectors are on the rise in South African cinemas. Still only a few selected cinemas have full HD projection capabilities, but SD projection equipment has become very accessible.
Our philosophy is simple: Shooting and post producing HD, where HD can be projected. If at any stage you want to go 35 mm with your material, film 35 mm in the first place. If only SD projection is on offer, don't waste money to shoot HD. DigiBeta seems to be quite sufficient.
